you see her sitting there just down the way
so much excitement thinking what to say
many scenarios come to your mind
but the right words you never seem to find
too much thinking only drives you insane
this will cause a malfunction in your brain
when the time comes you will know what to do
until then my friend think of nothing new
let your life happen don’t plan each event
keep hiking that mountain don’t pitch a tent
in your time of dying you know you tried
and if she says no you don’t have to cry

I wrote this on a plain when I noticed a beautiful girl that had been on a previous flight a couple days before. I wrote this to give myself the courage to talk to her because I felt this was more than coincidence. Unfortunately, I was stupid and never did talk to her but the image of her has been burnt in my mind's eye. This poem is dedicated to that girl that I never met.
